Oh Glorious Tennis
It is the height of Wimbledon, the world’s most prestigious tennis championship.
Where is Kournikova? Well, damn…I don’t know. Did she get knocked out yet again? Or is she still on her leave of absence? Has it been years since she last lost? I mean last played? — Well it really doesn’t matter does it?
Enrique seems to be keeping her quite well preserved.
Anyways one would think tennis just isn’t the same without her. Well for once that’s right. In fact, tennis is now better without her.
How is that possible? Well because now you have bright young stars (starlets) who just light up the court and actually win tournaments.
Just check out these two fine examples. Soon enough the names Maria Sharapova and Daniela Hantuchova will be as common as…well Kournikova.
